The automotive sector is one of the industries demanding the highest standards in steel material quality and supply processes. Quality steels used in engine, transmission, differential, and chassis parts require high fatigue resistance, extreme wear resistance, impact toughness, and precise dimensional tolerances. Quenched and tempered steels (42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6) are preferred for crankshafts, bearings, and high-stress shaft applications; case hardening steels (16MnCr5, 20MnCr5) are used for gears, races, and parts requiring wear-resistant surfaces. Micro-alloyed steels (38MnVS6) are used in applications like connecting rods where high strength is achieved through controlled cooling.
